    At The Horns Dam

Horns Dam is open from 7:30am till 7:00pm – closing 6:00 pm on Sundays.

Night fishing – members only.

Day fishing – please bring an up-to-date rod license and correct change. No need to be a member or book in advance, just select your peg and the bailiffs will collect on the bank.

Anyone flitting from one peg to another, or stalking fish, will be asked to leave.

Children must be with an experienced adult at all times and anyone allowing a child to wander will be asked to leave.

Please take your litter home.

Fishery Prices

Coarse Fishing: £7.00 per day
Carp Fishing: £10.00 per day
24 Hour Fishing: £20.00 (3 rods max)
One Guest Only: £5.00 per night

Concession Prices

Registered Disabled: £1.00 Off
Under 16’s: £1.00 Off
Over 65’s: £1.00 Off
Also, reductions for short stay and young children

Child’s Life Jackets For Hire

£5 returnable deposit. Please note life belt positions before fishing.

Fishery Rules

Night fishing by arrangement only, must be over 17.
Do not bring children at night without permission.
Night fishing – reserve your peg at no extra charge.
Use unhooking mats and antiseptic.
Barb-less hooks only.
Rods not to be left unattended.
No fish to be kept in bags or nets.
Keep-nets only for daytime pre-booked matches.
Dip and rinse all types of nets before fishing.
Day time fishing – under sixteen’s must be accompanied by an experienced adult.

” Well run site tucked away in beautiful countryside, facilities rival any club site, very clean with hot water and excellent shower, it’s fantastic for fishing, lakes well maintained and stocked with a variety of fish, we did not fish ourselves this time as we only planned an overnight stop but this place is definitely on the cards for our next visit to Lancashire. Lovely Little Site…

” We stayed here for 2 nights – arrived on Friday after a hectic week at work and horrible traffic on the motorway. Greeted by a lovely friendly lady, who was very helpful. The site was very peaceful, with lots of lakes for fishing. Local pub 5 mins walk down the road served good home cooked food. “
